Wadi Shees

Wadi Shees encompasses a unique counter enclave settlement, the Shees Village - an area of Sharjah which lies within an area of Oman. A scenic hiking trail winds between the mountains and runs alongside a picturesque waterway, joining the old village and local farms. There is incredible biodiversity in the area, too. Visitors can spot native species of plants and animals thanks to nearby freshwater sources. A beautiful area of palm trees provides some shade. Located in the middle of the mountain track, the village has many old houses which are due for renovation as part of the tourism strategy for the area and as part of the aim to provide living quarters for the workers of the farms and residents of the area.
